You hit it on the head here. He mentions that it only appears that way "SOMETIMES" I'll bet my last pair of clean underwear, those "SOMETIMES" are when he has a full tank of gas.

I think he may be on to something here. With more weight on the passenger side with the gas tank (and I also have the Rock Hard Gas Tank Skid making it even heavier on that side) it may have been just heavy enough to over compress the passenger rear spring whereas the driver side one does not seem to have been overcompressed. Either way I was thinking of getting the heavy duty OME rear springs anyway because I'll eventually get that rear bumper/tire carrier and we usually pack a lot of crap when we go camping. I think I'll also re-install the 2" bumpstops in the rear. I'll post some pictures of it soon.

Thanks for all the feedback!

no problem. i should note that i pack up my jeep quite a bit to go camping as well and before i went with coilovers, i used to use these:

depending on the size and shape of your coils, they might be helpful to you as well.

Well I took some pictures this morning to try and illustrate the sagging issue but the Jeep is not cooperating LOL. You all are going to laugh because it does not appear to be sagging much this morning. I have just under 3/4 of a tank in gas. I took some pictures of the springs too in case there's anything noticeable.

It's not too noticeable here but the back sags considerably when loaded down like in this picture:

Few questions if I could,

Did you go with HD springs in the rear?
Did you remove the stock bumpstop?

Everybody needs to remember that coils heights are directly related to how much weight you have on your vehicle.

I think I mentioned it before in this thread but no I don't think I went with the HD in the rear. If I remember right I think you suggested that I didn't need the heavy duty's in the rear. I didn't remove the factory bumpstops but I had previously installed a 2" bumpstop on the rear axle but I removed them when I installed a 1" body lift. I decided on doing this when I took it out on the trail a few times afterwards to test out whether the tires were rubbing the fenders after the BL and I noticed I had almost 3 inches of space between the tire and the fender flare at full flex. I had no idea that the bumpstops would prevent the springs from overcompressing. It was a rare incident to be going 35 to 40 down a dirt road and run into a dip that would cause the jeep to become airborn. It was only about an inch or two of airtime but it hit the ground hard. I shouldn't have been going that fast down the dirt road, especially loaded down with all our camping gear.

Do you have any deals on Heavy Duty OME rear springs?

Ok that makes sense right there.

And yes if you want HD springs I can take care of you.
