Question.... Is putting spring spacers in to make up for the sag after installing bumpers, winches, steel flat fenders etc., the real way to go?
I mean, lets say, I have a 3" lift, I put on all those heavy items and my jeep is now sitting lower than before,,,, by putting on spring spacers, would'nt that only bring my height up but still only have say a 2" lift???
The springs are still compressed are'nt they? will my articulation be limited? will my lift not be a true 3" lift? or work as well as before?
Would'nt it be better to put on heavier springs and shocks? rather than spacers?
I paid for a 3" lift, I don't want a 2" lift with 1" spacers!!! I want my lift to perform as advertised and not be lacking in ability because I added a bunch of weight...
Any lift companies out there want to answer this? or anyone else with lots of experience with lifts and how they really work...
I would like to fix this issue properly before this season really gets started!!!
Thanks....

Bump...
I know there is a couple people out there who can help me out...
But it looks like I have a couple options if I don't want to run spacers...
1.) buy 4" lift springs to compensate.
2.) buy "progressive" springs designed to hold up the added weight...
what do you guys think?

I am running 3" springs up front and 1" spacers...I was thinking for my new bumper and winch I would put 4" springs in there. I think I'll stand on the front of my JK measure the sag and call it even...I am 195lbs and figure the winch/bumper would be about 180lbs (80lb winch 100lb bumper).
