Default Spyder Bumper

Had a small fender bender and ended up getting a Spyder bumper off eBay from "Truck&Winch". Labeld Spyder. Anyway probably same as eAutogrilles. But have heard horror stories of their shipping. Anyway the Spyder was purchased on Sat, arrived Thursday in perfect shape. Foam wrapped and boxed. Not a nic on it. Was very impressed with shipping and packaging. Next open it up and to me the quality looks as good as any I have seen. No splatter on welds, the powder oat is perfect and it is an nice solid piece. Can't complain one bit for the 45$ out of my pocket it cost me since the lady shot hit my jeeps insurance picked up the rest. Install is straight forward and doable solo, but sure would have been easier with a helper. Only need to drill out the 4 holes in the rear crossmember to 1/2". About a 3 min job. Overall it too me about 2 hours by my self.

Looks pretty nice, hows the hinge? are there bearings or anything? and how about the latch, seem solid? Can you have someone hook up to it and drag you around for a bit to see how it holds up? I'm looking at getting a rear bumper/tire carrier too.

On a side note, did you black out your rims? looks like they went from silver to black along the ways.

Thanks, the I carrier is very solid. No bearings. But it does have a slot in the shaft and grease zerk on top to keep it lubed. The latch is very solid and secure, no rattle or free play in it at all.
The wheels are John Deere blitz black, was just the angle of lift and flash made it look silver still.
