Default Spyder Shade

Anyone have experience with a spyder shade? I am looking for something to help keep the inside cooler. Especially want to know if this would help keep inside cooler when the softop is fully on. I have seen liners to help out but look to be a pain if I want to put the top down.

With the top down, works great. Top up? That's what the windows or A/C is for.

The Spiderwebshade is just that, a shade from the sun. They add little if any insulation value. That being said it is one of the best things I have on my jeep. It provides shade, is easy to install and stays in place with the top up.

Even with A/C the heat radiates with the softop up. That's what I thought the shade would really help with top off but probably wouldn't with top on. How much wind do they block?

It doesn't help with insulation even with your soft top on. It does help a lot with wind noise.

Check out TUFFSHADE, comes with storage pockets too!

I hated mine at first because it seemed like I still had the top on. Once temperatures hit about 80 and sunny, I realized how awesome this thing was. Last year I had a black one that covered just my front seats, sold it for same price I bought it for. Bought a new one that covers front and back in red to match my Jeep. It makes the Jeep more quiet on the interstate, keeps it cool and looks cool.

I love mine too. At first I missed feeling the sun and getting a little tan. Then I realized that I never feel like I'm cooking anymore. I was driving around naked at 90° today and it was just warm to me. And I get hot easy. Well worth it. It does cut down on the wind noise big time as well.
