Default spyderlocks + mudgrappers help

well i finially got my posion spyder spyderlocks18 x 9 and mudgrappler wheels. 37 x 13.50 .. but now im having trouble getting them mounted. i bought them mounted and balanced , then their was a problem with the first set ,so i got anthor set of posion spyder beadlock spderlock wheels . but the local place that was going to swap out the wheels , says the first set was mounted wrong . mounted without the beadlock even being effective. somehow they mounted them so that the bead lock was not even clamping the tire to the wheel didnt think that was even posiable ....now the new place says the bead on the mud grappler is to big to fit under the beadlock ring... ive seen a few people running this combo just wondering if anyone has any ideas ? this is driving me crazy i ordered these over a month ago ... thanks alote

I am not trying to hijack, and I have nothing helpful to say here. I just want to see a photo of those on your Jeep when you get them mounted. I bet I am not alone!

It takes a lot of work to get the tire on right. Lots of lubricatio and about 10-15 passes over all of the bolts with a torque wrench. The bead will squeeze down to the right thickness, but it will take a while. My set of 5 took me about 2 hours to assemble. As for being installed wrong. It is possible to mount the tire normally behind the inner lock ring. But if this is done it is very obvious. The tire would be about an inch behind the outside of the wheel. Hope this helps. Should work great.

Jeez, I didn't think it was going to be this complicated. I'm expecting my rings to be done soon if the weather can hit 50. I'll call my local tire shop when I get a chance and see what they say.

thanks for all the repleys... yeah this has been a nightmare trying to get these wheels and tires between shipping the wrong ones and now them having problems mounting them ... but im sure it will be wroth the wait and all the trouble... il let ya know how i make out today.. im sure they will be calling me soon.....the tire shop says they did call ciffiton at posion spyder , they said he said the nittos are very very hard to get on ,that he has only done two sets and that he used a torch to heat up the bead of the wheel and i guess melt it to the tire they also said pick a different tire.... but i really want the muddgrapplers and i can just imagine the hassle of trying to return them

I would go to a different shop or mount them yourself. Bead locks are something most shops don't want to touch, and so they tend to give more of a hassle to people who want them mounted.
