Used to get a rattle / squeak on my 2007 JKU thought it was the tail gate, but found out it was the rear seat latches, by folding them down and driving about no rattle. Greased them up and don't notices any noise now but maybe my ears are now tuned out.

I'm happy to report that the devil squeak is still with me. That's not the "happy" part, this is: now at a greatly reduced level. Why? Who knows? However, here's an interesting observation (to me). The last couple of days, the humidity has been way up for here, like 60%+. No, I repeat NO evidence of the squeak! Today the humidity is down to the low 40% range, and it was just an occasional squeak. Apparently the devil doesn't like humidity, which makes sense being the devil and all.

The other observation is that the squeak only happens on coasting or deceleration. That's a good thing. Now I have an excuse when my wife says, "Why do you have to take off so fast??!?

I'm guessing this is pointing at my rear control arms. I already found a sticking OEM rubber bushing that was making a loud squeak when it moved in its housing. Maybe my rear driveshaft. I killed a combination small rattle/vibration/chirping noise by replacing my front driveshaft 1310 u-joints (yes, it's aftermarket), so anything is possible.
