Squeaky Squeaky LoD Rear.
I installed my LoD rear bumper/carrier Gen2 about 3 weeks ago. It now has begun to rattle and squeak like a bad hotel bed during sex.
I have narrowed it down to the carrier and where the 2 sections couple to form what holds the spare on the frame. (does that make sense?).
I can also spin the mount that holds the tire about a half inch in either direction, thus spinning the spare as well, the bolt stops it from spinning any further, but I think that is where the horrible noise is coming from.
Could I have used the wrong size bolt? Or did I do something else wrong?

i'm not 100% sure i'm understanding you right but is it safe to assume that the sidewalls of your spare is not pressing up against the tire carrier frame? if so, it needs to even if it's really tight. i would recommend getting some 1/2" washers, maybe about 3 or 4 on each stud and then set the tire mount to a position where you can get your spare side wall touching the frame from the minute you put it on. then, tighten your lug nuts to suck it in.
Yeah that was my initial thought, so I checked and my spare is touching and is pretty tight against the frame. I tried tightening the lugs to suck it in tighter, but it didn't help. I will try loosening the spare in the morning to see where it sits before it is tightened and go from there.
Thanks Eddie.

I guess I need to muscle up and try again. HGH anyone?
