Default SRT-8 conversion?

Have an 09 rubicon, and have come across an SRT-8 with 20k on it! Looking for some help on what would be needed to make the swap flawless? any info that you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated! Just starting to order everything I need for the swap to be done right. Thanks in advance for any info..

AEV is pretty much the go to source for the Hemi swap from my readings. They make a ready to go kit for around 5K and it includes about everything you need minus the engine/trans. I think it would be an awesome build but currently I don't have the 20k laying around to even consider it.

I found a Grand Cherokee SRT8 on Craigslist for $7000 and wish I had the money to pick it up and convert it.

Burnsville Offroad and AEV sell DIY kits, check out their sites. The kits are pricey, but they have the wiring harness, PCM, mounts, and other things you will need. That helps insure everything works like factory and you should have no check engine codes.

You will need an RFE545 tranny if going auto. You can do a stick but I cannot remember what tranny they use.

If your rig is unlifted and you do not drive/wheel too crazy, you can get away with the stock axles and drive shafts for awhile. So far have about 22k on the stock stuff with no issues.

This guy did it at home;

Burnsville installation guide is online here (put the W's together);

If you are comfortable with wrenching you can DIY, the only welding is the motor mounts.
