That looks pretty sweet. I'll bet it stops a lot better with the big brakes too!

We've been down this road so many times "It doesn't look good to me", "Why do yo want to?", "blah...blah...blah", because he canit's his, not mine...

I think it would need 37" tires to look "right" but by them you are up to $500 per tire, and that is more than I am willing to pay per tire.

Yes, I would definately check into what tire options are available. I think you said you wanted to keep the same overall tire height as stock. Depending on which stock combo you have, it's somewhere between 28 1/2 & 31 isn't it.

That leaves a sidewall of 4 1/4" - 5 1/2". Quite a bit thicker than those other vehicles running 20's some are referring to. Might make a little rougher ride, but maybe not.???

Well, whatever happens, I'd be curious to see how those SRT-8 wheels look on the JK...I know they look tight on the Grand. I say try that mess!

He all but said he is building a mall crawler. I think a 31 inch tire wouldn't look very good but the Burnsville JK with 35's (shown earlier in thread) is pretty sharp for a mall crawler. I wouldn't do it if it was going to be taken off road though. Consider a Teraflex 2.5 BB and 35's and I think you have a winning on-road combo.

Just my 2 cents

Ty
