Default stabilizer replacement

has anyone replaced the stablizer, if so was it a drop in or not.

Most of the aftermarket stabilizers are not drop in kits. Having said that, why are you looking to replace yours? Unless it is damaged, you should be just fine with the factory one even after giving your Jeep a lift and installing bigger tires.

I put a skyjacker stabilizer on mine and it just bolts in place of the factory one. It is about twice the diameter as the stock one. It helped me because I am running bias ply's.

Many people on here prefer not to upgrade their steering stabilizers becuase it will dampen your ability to "feel" any problems you might run into with the lift, wobble, or steering. And I've got a 3.5" lift with 33s with the stock stabilizer and it works fine for me.
