Default Stacking coil lift/spacers

Just looking at different ideas for lifts. Has anyone stacked teraflex 1 inch spacers and the teraflex 2.5 inch coil lift? Will this even work? Do you need shock adapters if you have shocks meant to fit the 2.5 inch coil lift? Don't know the ups and downs of this but it seems cheaper than the 3 inch kit

I had a 3/4" spacer ove the 2.5" BB for a while and didn't have any problems.

It may be cheaper, but think about why it is cheaper. What components are included in the taller lift, that aren't in the shorter one? And why are they included?

As you go higher, it becomes more important to correct the caster, the shifted axles, the negative angles on the swaybars, the short brake lines, etc. Decide which components in the 3" kit you will want to add to the 2.5" + spacer kit...

You might browse the suspension faq's again:
Q: What is Caster? How much do I need?
Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?
Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 4" lift?

TF coils are known to be tall. Do some research to see what height to expect, but I believe the 2.5 coils will give somewhere in the 3"-4" range, depending on model and added weight. So don't be surprised it you end up in the 4"-4.5" range on your unlimited with the 2.5" coils + 1" spacers...
