Default Stacking lifts? Please provide input

Hey guys, I have a JK with a 2.5 RC spacer lift. I know that its just a puck sitting on my coils, so could I possibly get a coil lift combined with the spacer lift?
And if i can't, if I get Bilstein shocks, would it lift my jeep up a little?

You can run longer, after-market springs with a puck on the top. Shocks only don't provide any lift. Just realize as you go bigger, the more there is to do, i.e. adjustable control arms or at least drop brackets.

I stacked lifts. It ends up costing more than you expect for the parts needed to properly dial in your suspension. Your better off getting a complete kit.

I think the consideration is like any other lift even if they weren't stacked, whether the total amount of lift necessitates any other modifications like brake lines, etc. One thing I ran into is that an adjustable track bar was needed (IMO) based on the increased lift from the 2.5" over the spacer lift and it gets more dramatic if they are stacked. Some people don't care but I am more particular about stuff than some others. Other than that issue, stacking the different parts didn't seem to hurt anything. In fact, it's basically the same thing you had with the factory springs with a spacer. Just now you have a taller spring with a spacer and then longer shocks.

i have stacked a few on mine and it worked great... i personally would never buy a complete lift kit, i would rather buy all the part individually, but thats just me.

I started out with a 2.5" susp lift. Added 3/4" spacers to front, 1" in back. Going just over 3" I needed adj trackbar, longer front lca's, slightly shorter lca's in back to correct pinion angles, also brake line extensions, and adj swaybar links to keep the swaybar's handling good. Going over 2.5" will require more parts and fine tuning.

My buddy's got a 3.5" teraflex suspension with a 2"BB on top, and then a 1" body lift on top of that. Doesn't look too bad haha
