Default Start with 35s or start with 37s?

I've got chromoly shafts f/r 5.13 gears Aussie locker for d30 and Detroit for the rear d44 on order oh I also have c gussets sleeves and lca skids on order as well just waiting on parts to arrive. I have a 2 door 6 speed and am having trouble picking which size tire and lift I wanna go. If I do 35s I would run toyo mt and if I do 37s I would run the km2. If I go 35s first that would give me time to do tube fenders upgrade my steering etc while the 35s wear out. It's not my dd. Advice on a good complete lift that's easily upgradable would be awesome too. Thanks

The advantage of a 37'" isn't a shocker over a 35". The 35" is easier on all the driveline and steering components. I have a buddy that has 37" and I can go anywhere he can with my 35s. Where he gets me is his is a Rubi and I have yet to add lockers damn it.

Lots of great lifts. I run a Rusty's 3.25 and love it, but take your pick from the feedback you'll get and read some great articles on here.

Nice buys by the way!

The 35" Toyos are probably close to the same size as the 37" KM2's.

Thanks man. I think the 37s would look awesome on a 2 door but then again with the right suspension set up 35s would be very capable.

I love the toyos they look like a great mt and good wearing tire. The 37/1350/17 toyos weigh about 92lbs a pop and I don't wanna but that much strain on the d30 esp since I'm gonna be locked

Yeah this is true. My 35 KM2's look the exact same as my buddies 33" AT's. Nothing is more aggravating. And I agree with the above post on the actual performance difference...minimal if any...off road. That being said I guess it comes down to looks and whos swingin the bigger...eh...tires. Go with 37's what the hell

Build your jeep already. Buy tires, and if something breaks, replace it with something stronger. I've got 37x14.5x15 toyo mt's on open diffs with a d30 front...
