Default Steering

I've had 3 jk's and noticed on my most current 11 JKU that the steering on the freeway can be a little sloppy. You don't buy jeeps for the ride but hard to keep it straight. Currently running no mods but wondering if upgrading the steering stabilizer will do anything... Anyone upgrade just the steering stabilizer?
I have had the alignment done and tires are good.

Have you checked your steering joints for play? That is the 1st thing I would look at to try and determine the source of this issue.

Upgrading the stabilizer will make a small difference, but not enough for your concerns. If you want to fix the issue, you should do a drag link flip or upgraded steering. That will be the best fit fix with the jk factory set up. Stabilizer will not be as noticeable and masks real issues like death wobble.

Would that make it feel like your driving an older car that has play in the steering wheel? Seems like I can get about 1/2" right or left on the wheel without the car turning. A little to loose for a newer jeep in my opinion

Yep these steering units are weak and sloppy. You could either rebuild it or upgrade it like PSC

You should by no means attempt to install a drag link flip on your stock JK. This could only benefit your rig at 3 - 3.5" or more of lift.

Yes it could. I would check your tie rod ends and drag link ends to make sure they aren't worn out and loose before anything else.
