Default Steering Box replacement

Like most people i have larger tires and a lift on my jeep. Now i find the the stock steering box is crap and i have play at the pitman arm. I have also did more research and found out that you can tighten that and put a short fix for a long term problem. Yes i have also heard that this can really mess up your steering. Now here is the down side. A new box is 700 bucks. Somebody is making a killing off of that. I have not seen a rebuild kit with berrings for it. and i have only came across one set of instructions for how to pull it apart and it wasnt that good. I did come across a few places that said a box off a durango ( i did own one and man i wish the exwife didnt take it) steering box will swap out with certian jeeps. Main guestions.
1. is there a good rebuild kit thats isnt a pain in the butt to do
2. is there a swap box i can get from the junk yard and not spend 700 bucks for a new on. im in vegas there is 2 really good yards here.
3. or is there some other way to keep the pitman arm from having too much play and causing DW.
