So need to replace me steering box as line has lots of play. Are there any good upgrades without going to hydro ?

I think Synergy has kit, that adds a cross brace also.

A few people have posted about replacement boxes, but they were not 'upgrades'. Maybe your best bet is a WTO box (or have them rebuild yours), and that way the box will already be set up for hydro if you choose to add it down the road.

I don't think the Synergy kit is what you are looking for, they are just braces for the trackbar and sector shaft.

Check their website, they'll rebuild your factory box. Don't want the hydro, don't buy all the add-ons. The benefit is that the box will already be set up for it. (they also sell new boxes, then you get a core charge refund after you send your broke one back to them)

It's at least worth comparing prices against a new stock box from your dealership.

If you think the box will need replacing indefinitely, why not try playing with the preload on the worm gear? You'll see an adjustment screw with a jam nut on top of the box. Worth a try
