I replaced my factory ss with a TeraFlex. It was a direct replacement with no extra parts needed and it was around $50.

I have tried Skyjacker and Teraflex. Teraflex hands down!!! Reasonably priced too.

I have a new Teraflex damper that is headed for the trash. It's a lot beefier than the stock version, so it should have been an improvement. Unfortunately the travel is 'lumpy' with resistance in some places and no resistance in others. I ended up putting the stock one back one.

I have never had a problem with my TF

Northridge has a TF SS and JKS Relo bracket kit for $99. Pretty good deal

I've got a Rancho SS. Works well enough.

This is the setup I did as well. Just put on the dampener and will do the relo when I get all my front end welding done.
