Default Steering issue

Ok guys I need some help - here are any details I can think of that might help:

I have a 4" lift but its just coils and springs plus front and rear adjustable trackbars. I also have a skyjacker steering stabilizer (only one the shop had at the time) I also have adjustable ball joints.

I know I need to get front and rear adjustable lower control arms to adjust my caster and I know to get a new front drive shaft ready.

But here is my current problem I can't seem to solve - I've had my alignment done immediately after the lift was installed (early December) and I've centered my steering wheel several times - I've read the whole thread on self alignments etc. but the problem is when in driving and I turn to hard a certain direction my steering wheel seems to get off center and lean that direction I turned. I can jerk the wheel and try to get it back the other way but it usually doesn't work and its dangerous.

What can I do!? The 15mm bolts are tightened on the turnbuckle so it's not loose. I'm lost and getting upset...

Basically... I'm lost for words I can't even describe it well. But yes that's basically what it is doing.

I'd say check your stabilizer bracket, make sure its not making contact with your diff cover or something else. You may have something causing a bind

Ill look at it in the morning - thanks. I have been under it quite a bit and don't remember seeing anything like that, but ill deff give it another look over. I'm desperate at this point.

You can also remove the stabilizer and drive the jeep without it, just to rule it out. If that doesn't solve your problem, I remember reading some where in this forum that to some degree installing front adj lower control arms to dial your caster will help with your steering issue...

I may be totally mis-reading your situation, but to me it sounds like you are saying that your steering wheel constantly loses center. Like when you turn the wheel hard in a direction and you bring the wheel back to center and drive straight but now your wheel is not centered anymore? Or are you saying that the wheel binds after you turn it hard in one direction and it is physically hard to bring it back to center?

You are correct - it loses center. No binding - it's not hard to turn.

Sorry guys for not being clear.

In that case I would check your track bar bushing and bolt. Make sure there is no play in it at the frame side. This is just a guess, but it could be rounded out/slightly loose and the track bar could be moving just a bit under hard turning which would throw your wheel off center a bit. You should probably grab someone to get under it while you turn the wheel back and forth to see where you have play. There's lots of areas on these to have issues from including the drag link, pitman arm, track bar, end links, etc.
