Default Steering Issues Need Help! (With Pictures)

Hey guys so I had a 3" full traction ultimate lift installed around 9 months ago and as of the last couple of months my steering has been crazy. It doesnt pull one way or the other but its more like it wants to be turning all the time and doesn't want to go straight. The problem is at its worst on the freeway. It follows the grooves in the freeway like its on a track and its exhausting to keep on the road. I have everything on that comes with the FT 3" ultimate lift. It wasn't this bad when it was first installed. Im not sure what could have happened. I know that one of the grease boots came unseated. This is not my area of expertise so I'm posting up some pictures that hopefully someone can look at and see where my problem is. Anything helps. The steering wheel is centered, And in the pics the jeep is sitting flat. Thanks guys

In the last pic your tie rod looks bent and drag link looks like it might be on its last legs. Also have you looked at all the bolts and ensured they are still tight. When you check these verify that none of the holes have become wallowed out which would allow additional play with your components.

That's tough to say. The bend looks like it's right at the pumpkin, which may be that tie rod, though I would agree the OP needs to clarify.

Have someone assist you and cycle through the steering while you check components. Check both tie rod ends looking for play. Then look at your drag link, both at the knuckle and the pitman side. Grab on to both of these, feeling for clunks. Take a look at the pitman itself and the sector shaft to see if there is wear. Next, I would look at the ball joints, looking for play.

In fact, what you could do is use Planman's thread for DW. Much of this is focused on steering components. If you go through this step by step, you'll most likely find your culprit.

One last question, did you loosen your control arms before you installed the lift, and tighten them back after it was back on the ground. Lots of guys have made this mistake and has lead to all sorts of issues.

You might want to check the jam nut on your drivers side lower control arm. Your heim joint from the pictures looks way off for no articulation. I had the same type of thing happen on my rig. Hope this helps!

Your drag link has a steep angle,needs to be more level.Hows your caster?

I don't know how the caster is. I don't know how to measure it. I'm new to all the lift stuff. Is it easy to adjust and measure? Can't find a good video on all this stuff . I have a lot of tools and a vehicle lift at my disposal so I know I can do it but my knowledge is very limited on this type of thing. When I put the Jeep in the air one of the heim joints is at a much different angle than the other on the front lower control arms. Could that be the issue? I need a step by step on this. And my Jeep I'd my dd do I can't exactly mess it up for too long. Thanks for the advice so far guys.

Take a wrench to that jam nut and loosen it, orientate the heim joint back to center and red loctite the threads and tighten that baby back up while keeping the joint centered. Use a big wrench and crank on it. Check the other control arm for tightness as well. Take it for a test spin

So should the heim joint be parallel with the vehicle in the air or or on the ground?
