Steering movement while driving
Probably not the most exact title, but it was the best I could come up with. I have a 2017 JK Rubicon Recon, on 37's, Metalcloak 3.5" Game changer suspension, RPM Steeping Tie Rod & Drag Link, new Teraflex Ball Joints (about a month and a half), and everything is tight (tripple checked). I can start driving straight and the steering wheel will be off center maybe 3-5 degrees clockwise. On the exact same drive, it can shift to 3-5 degrees off center to counter-clockwise. In both instances, the Jeep is going straight. There doesn't seem to be any reason why this might happen (wind, road slope, overly hard turn in either direction, etc.), and we're talking about on road driving. Speed doesn't seem to be a factor or hitting a bump a certain way. Tire pressure doesn't seem to affect it either. If it was consistantly to one direction, I could lengthen or shorten the drag link, but it's to both sides at different times. I've been offroad maybe 10 times (or so) since any installs or modifications, but nothing to crazy. It seems to have started to present itself about a week ago. I've exhausted any ideas as to why that might occur (within my own knowlege anyways). Does anyone have any good suggestions about what might cause this? Is this s symptom of a bad power steering pump or steering box?

Given the upgrades & mods.. my thoughts lead me to the Steering Box, what you describe does not indicate that it is following the crown of the roadway.. What are the current alignment #s (if you have had recent alignment).
Jk’s or wranglers in general seem to have a common slop in the gearing box. I’d sum that up to be your issue. You may see if your sector shaft has play and that will also lead to a little slop as well. Your symptoms definitely don’t describe a pump issue though.
Check your tires PSI, if over or under inflated the tires could make the jeep wonder or drift Also, how long ago have you had the alignment checked or the wheels balanced/rotated. In our case we know that we have a slight caster angel issues. In order to understand this it's like a kid learning to roller skate for the first time.. one leg moves forward while the other moves back and back and forth.. the move may not be much but could cause some drifting issues.
Didn't do the flip because the uptravel on MC is too high, and it wasn't recommended. Nothing changed w/ control arms in over a year of having them installed and none of those jam nuts moved a bit (paint lines still match up). So, I don't know how caster or camber could have changed.

Maui BB - chiming in now as I had a slight pull to left lately and wandering similar to what you describe. I only run 33s but it turned out it is the front wheel bearings. Left one has 3/8" slop at the outer diameter of the tire. Original bearings with about 120k miles on them. Will be installing 2 new ones tomorrow. Take a look at yours especially if this situation was not there all the time for you.
