Default Steering Stabilizer

Hey Guys. I have a X with a 3.5" RE Super Flex kit with 33" tires. I was poking my head around underneath the body seeing how hard it would be to fab up some skid plates. While I was under there I notice how dinky the stock steering stablizer looked. Has anyone replaced theirs? With what? And what exactly is the benefit of replacing. Thanks.

I replace my destroyed one with another stock one (mucho $$ for such a small part).

Benefits....debatable, but with 37s, it helps absorb some of the road imperfections. Offroad, it's just an accident waiting to happen.
