Definitely worth relocating higher, I run a modified ARB SS but they do a JK specific model now (looks the same as my modified version with a boot rather than metal stone guard). Stone chips on the piston rod will chew the seal and cause leaks.

I wish you could use the stock stabilizer with JKS relocation kit I'm on my third teraflex stabilizer in 8 months, pisses me off

I too wonder if their new design is better?
