Steering wheel dance
So I had the popular traction control light and auto braking when going into a corner after I lifted my jeep. About 3 1/2 inches, 35s and adj trackbar. I realigned the steering wheel and it still did it but not as much. So I looked up the steering wheel dance to deactivate and just want to make sure it worked right. I'm pretty sure BOTH of the traction lights are always going to stay on in the dash and when first starting it says ESPDISABLE. please tell me that's what it should all be doing. I also am getting a ding every so often and it looks like the traction light that doesn't have off under it(top right light) looks to flicker just a second. Is this normal or any idea what it would be? Thanks for the help
Oh also wanted to know if anyone that has done it also has kept it off during the winter or should I plan on turning it back on for the ice/snow occasions. I'm in good ole never know what winters going to bring Virginia lol
I know the two curvy lines are always on(trancation Conrol). When I start the jeep it dings about two seonds later and a quick message appears "ESP OFF". That is all that stays on in my case.
Why we have two different messages I don't know. I have a 2007 and had to take mine to the dealer to get the ECM flashed with the most recent software to even do the steering wheel dance. Maybe that is why.

The only time it chimes is right after I start the jeep. After that the message goes away but the traction control icon stays on. I take coners at whatever speed I want to now and can break the tires loose in mud or snow with no issues.
I have a 2010 and it only chimes once after I start it and it says esp off then it goes away, the only light on in my dash is the little car with the burn out marks lol there should only be one light on and if you need a computer to help you drive in the winter turn it back on, I hate abs and traction control it's all a joke I want to be in control lol

See I have both lights on. Same icon but one has off under it and the bigger one is just the Icon. I just noticed that it that both lights stay on the whole time and I get a chime at what seems like when I'm coming to a stop
That's how my lights stay. I just undid the dance and then did it again and it came back on the same way. I don't mind both lights just want to make sure that both are suppose to be on or if something is wrong
