When I am at a standstill, and I turn the steering wheel either left or right, after a couple of turns, I start to feel some play, about 1 inch and feels like their is no resistence. Any thoughts? Going straight and turning dont appear to be too much of a problem.

Hold your hand on the drag link while someone else moves the wheel for you. If your ends are bad you will feel it clunk. CM
