Steering wheel swap
I have found several older posts about late model jk wheel swap into older Jk. If you have performed the swap or know the answer please reply. My question is are the 2011- up compass/liberty/grand Cherokee wheel the same. Also are all air bags the same for same wheel. I know wheel controls will not work. compass and liberty steering wheels seem cheaper in general to purchase. Also how did you mount the cruise stick to the newer style wheel? Thanks and any pictures will help

What Jeep are you driving-- Model and Year? Candidly without searching the Inet.. I believe they all have different steering wheels.. My 09 Patriot is different than my JKUs. Major concern would be SAFETY . .. AIR BAGs !

My Jeep is a 2008, I assume all 07-10 are the same and 11-18 jk are the same. I see you have a 09 patriot, that's not the year I'm asking about. 2011-up. Safety should not be concern if the airbag from a compass patriot or liberty is the same part number as the later jk. And the later jk will connect to early Jk air bag harness
