Default Steering wobble on a cold morning

I'm not real sure what this is, but in the mornings when it's a little cold I get a wobble in the steering wheel....all I can figure is it's because of the low tire pressure because it seems to go away after driving several miles. I keep my tires at 30lbs cold, so I'm hoping that's the reason....anybody else had this happen?

I had this problem also, it turned out to be my alignment was just a little off. Got it realigned, the cold morning wobble went away.

I'd bet is is something very simple like a flat spot on the tire when its cold. My guess is as the day progresses the problem never reoccurs until the next morning.

Yep. This is a pretty common thing.

OK, still having this problem...haven't been able to have the alignment checked yet (doing that tomorrow), but now it does it even when it's not cold (it's been 80-90 deg here). At about 40-50 mph is when it's the worst...steering wheel wobbles back and forth and feels like the front wheels are way out of balance...only thing is, it ONLY does this at around 40-50 and not at higher speeds which makes me wonder if it's really a balance issue...any other thoughts?

Speed related wobble is ussually a balance issue. Cross rotate your tires from front to rear and see if it changes. That'll tell you if it's a balance prob.

I work offshore and am gone alot. My wife only drives the Jeep when her Titan is low on gas so it sits alot. The first thing I do when I get home is jump in the Jeep and go for a ride. It never fails the first 2-3 miles it feels like all the tires are out of balance. It is not the alignment in my case I just had it done. Just like with the cold it goes away. I also run 30 pounds in all of my tires and came up with the same conclusion. I park on cement so there are flat spots from sitting.
