Default Step with Rubi Rock rails

I'm looking for a step/running board to help my wife and kids getting in and out of my jeep, but I'd like to keep the existing Rock Rails that came stock.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience on this. I'm new to the forums and Jeeps so sorry if this is posted I've looked.

I like the Rugged Ridge RRC Side Armor Guards and I know for function they would replace the rails but for cosmetics and rocks could slip inside the RRC rails and the stock ones would help being closer to the body.

Welcome to the forum.

Check this out https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/sponsoring-manufacturers-vendors-check-out-cyber-monday-specials-24/any-interest-add-steps-rubicon-rock-rails-57326/
Woods is one of the sponsors of the site and has some options for the factory rock rail. That is the first thing that popped into my mind.

Here is a pic of what he is working on Step

Welcome to the forum

You could also consider another Woods product if you are trying to provide a step and rock protection.

My Rubi Rails should be here next week.

I like the look of the weld on kit much better. Plus it is end to end great ideas.

Default Mopar Rock Rail with Rub Guard

Not sure if the the delaership will work with you but they have a Rock Rail with Rub Guard (could be used as a step?), maybe you could swap up?

I just ordered to replace my side steps before i leave them on the trail.

Welcome to the forum.
Other than the Woods mod, I don't believe I've seen any other "step" add-ons for the stock rails (I presume these are the ones that come stock on a Rubi).

I saw a couple pics of a guy running the stock rubicon rails with the RRC side armor. It was on a 2 door. I'll see if I can find the post again and give you a link to it.

This is the link to the page that talks about running the RRC side armor with the stock rubi rails. If you want pics check out Jayrav's gallery.

I like the Step-up nerf bars from Wild Boar. They are bolt on or weld on and they look/work great.
