Still waiting for bumper ordered in January
I ordered front and rear Pure Jeep bumpers in late January, and I just got word from PJ that they still haven't received the sheet metal to start building the rears. The earliest now that they will ship is 3 weeks from now. This is the same "3 more weeks" bs I have been getting since I ordered it. I got the front after 2 months of waiting, but somebody tell me why I should keep waiting for this company to get its ducks in a row?
I love the front bumper, which is why I have waited so long for the rear...but at this point, poor customer service (on PJ's side as well as Quadratec's), I think the time has come to cancel the order.
This thread is in no way meant to detract people from buying this particular bumper...it is meant for people to get realistic ship dates and have good communication between yourself and a vendor before you choose to buy from them. I made the mistake of "just ordering it online" hoping it would come soon...I won't be doing tht again.
There are far too many other manufacturers whose products are in stock to keep waiting...

Well since you original order is there another rear bumper out there that excites you like the PJ one? If not, then wait a little longer (heck you waited this long). As we all know, manufacturers are trying to get products out there and possibly understated the demand.
Now I am not an employee of PJ or a dealer. Just an enthusiast.
Anyway...sorry you are so irritated with the process, i know how that feels. But stay optimistic.
