Default Stock flares cut really narrow?

Im wanting to either run without flares or cut my stock set really narrow, like down to 2-3 inches. I've found a few flareless pics, but no pics of super narrow flares...

Has anyone cut there flares super narrow? I need some pics and pointers.

Thanks!

Search Fender Trim. Look for the one by RED. Its a massive thread now, but theres so many different cuts in there you will find a line you like. I guarantee it..lol

There is a support under the front flares that connects the liner with one bolt out of the few there are total.

Cutting them too narrow would not allow the use of that support or that connection point for the inner liner. Just a thought

I have cut two sets and the first were really narrow about 3.5 inches, the second set is 5 inches wide, they don't look too bad at all

The way Red cut his he still uses that support, but there are some that just want the look. When I cut mine Im with you, I prefer the good look, but I want to keep some support.

That looks awesome! Any problems not having the supports? Did you just follow the normal right ups, but cut them really narrow?

Post some more pics please! Thats exactly what I am wanting to do.
