Default Stock front bumper end cap mod?

I tried to find it on a search, but came up empty. Can someone lead me to a post and pics of people who have purchased the end caps for the stock front bumper to shorten it up?

Try a search for VDP or rugged ridge end cap conversion.

Also try a search for stubbie bumper 101, that thread helped me out a lot

Did the Rough Country kit after having a bit of a run-in with a tree on a trail run. Siliconed the seams and then bedlined it. Beat spending the money ona brand new bumper.

Nice stubby job. Good looking grill mesh too. Is that one piece of mesh on the backside?

And what's your best suggestion for snugging the mesh up against the Jeep grill?
Feel free to pm me instead of us hijacking abailey's thread.

Do you have to silicone and bedline the seam?

Not at all, I just did it because I already had the stuff layign around to do it and made it look more like a one-piece bumper. If you look at advertised pics from the manufacturers you can see a bit of difference in the color and texture from the stock bumper to their caps.

Do you know which one of these has the best match to the factory bumper?

Not sure since I have only worked with the RC kit. IMO the shape of their caps looks better than the VDP, but I havent seen it in person.

This thread shows a couple JK's that didn't bedline.
