Default Stock Looking Lift Kit

So what would be a lift kit that would look the closest to standard OEM Rubicon suspension to avoid getting blackflagged at the dealer? Black powdercoated springs and red shocks with black boots. I suppose I could swap the boots over to the new shocks as well. Probably gonna have to be 2 inches or less to get away from having to use a trackbar drop down bracket as well so it all looks stock. Finally found the wheels I'm gonna get, those black reproduction 20 inch SRT wheels from Quadratec combined with some 33's. Nothing to big and crazy.

Find a dealer that has common sense. There are dealers that will help you get the most out of your Jeep experience. I drive 60 miles to mine. He just installed 513 gears for my and said my Jeep had grown up with the 3" lift and 34" tires. He also thinks my Superchip is neat.

My dealer said they have no problem with spacer lifts just excessive spring lifts so I did the Teraflex BB then found a set of stock springs from a 4dr hard top tow package JK. Now I run 35's with no problem with plenty of flex and the dealer so far is happy. By the way I go to the stock wheels and tires for service calls. Don't want to rock the boat to much.

Just get a 1 inch spacer kit and buy a cheap set of rubicon springs and shocks (there are always some for sale in this forum). That will give you about two inches of lift... and they would have a hard time faulting that set-up. I have an x that was ordered with rubicon shocks and springs... I put on a 3/4 inch spacer. it sits just over 2 inches higher then a stock X. I run 33's with it on stock rims and thus far without spacers... but it does rub a little bit if you are turned real sharp and bouncing through a rut. Spacers would fix that too I'm sure.
