Question stock wheels + wheel spacers + snow chains

Can you use a wheel spacer with stock sahara/rubi wheels?

If yes to above, can you use snow chains on the stock wheels with the spacer to provide the inner clearance?

Thx.

also, is there any negative consequence to using spacers, especially if I upgrade the tires from 255 to 305, etc?

california law says you have to have chains with you, and someimes they make you put them on... so yes I can throw some chains in the back to show them i have em, but per jeep manual they will not fit... hence the spacers...cheap fix
