Storage tub mod - Another version
I'll give this one more try.
This past weekend, a friend and his brother helped me to build and install a new storage tub. It is nice to have friends with metal working tools
Since I had already relocated the muffler (to a place where it belongs), I had plenty of room. The new tub was made from a single piece of 16ga steel with the seams tig welded. It is 24in wide at the front, 27in wide at the rear and 10in deep overall. We cut a hole in the bottom and installed the drain plug. After the tub was built, it was installed with 3/16 rivets due to access limitations. I undercoated the exterior and applied the auto parts store version of Rhino liner to the interior.

I see it. Great idea. I assume you have relocated your muffler? Why did you use rivets instead of welding in (may be dumb question considering I don't know too much about welding to the body tub).
