I've driven in the rain a few times w/ no doors. Water doesn't get in too bad unless its a sidewinding high wind storm. Put the soft top or hard top on and your good. Plus my carpets been soaked before but just let it air dry in the sun.

I'm going to tease you with just enough info to keep you hunting for an answer, not cuz I'm a jerk, but because I don't remember more...
I remember reading a full page add in JP magazine about a company that made a rear hitch mounted rack for the doors to be stored on. Cool stuff!

 

I have a hitch mounted bike rack that I sometimes use to haul my doors if I take them off for my ride home from work. Not the best solution but it works.i have found that even having those with me doesn't help much with these daily pop up storms we have been having in Charlotte nc. By the time I get them off the rack and on I am soaked and so are the seats. Taking the advice from these guys and bed lining the tub and getting seat covers to enjoythe sunny days and dealing with the crappy wet ones.

In the time it takes to unstrap the doors from a rack and get them back on, you'd be soaked anyway. Carpet delete, bedliner and pulled plugs seem like the way to go if you're worried about it...
