Although it's a crap-shoot, if you bought someone's worn out, saggy factory coils, you'd likely get a drop. Find someone that had a big bumper and winch and towed. You could net a pretty significant drop.

Default Skyjacker lowering springs

Skyjacker makes a 2" front / 2.5" rear, lowering spring set. Part number is LOWJK024. A JK with body matched flares and hardtop, probably wouldn't look too bad, if it was done with the right wheels/tires.

Shoulda just spent the extra and got bigger rims to fill the gap lol. Here's some pics for ya. I guess it's not too bad if that's what ur into....these aren't my jeep, just found them online

I wouldn't cut your springs. They are wound so the ends are flat and seat properly. If you cut them they will not sit properly and will make tons of creaking. They might even break somewhere along the cut coil from the uneven load. They will also probably wear a groove where the end of the spring rubs the seat.
