Default stubby front bumper

Hey everyone,

So im trying to decide on a front bumper. I need a stubby one because when my sway bar is disco'ed i rub on a full width or middy. I would prefer for the winch to be sunk down in the bumper, not on top of the bumper. I do not have factory fogs, so i do not really want factory fog holes but if the bumper i decide on has fog holes ill buy some. Anyone care to give me some choices as to what bumper i look into? (I hope i posted in the right category.)

Thanks so much!

Sean

I know I'm biased, but Rugged Ridge XHD stubby winch bumper would be a good choice. It does have the fog mounts, but winch is recessed into the bumper, and if you want accessories like a hoop or stinger, extensions or whatever, just add them on!

From what you describe, can't go wrong with the RR XHD winch ready stubby bumper. But it has the light holes. Great price too.

Benchmark Designs sport stubby - no fog holes, recessed winch plate, minimalistic approach that would fit your requirements.

Rugged Ridge makes a nice stubby bumper for a decent price, but it's got a spot for the factory fogs. I'm running the light mount version, not the winch mount version, but you can check out pics in my profile. Picked up the bumper & hoop for $380.

One of the site vendors was blowing out some stubbies not long ago. Check the vendors forum.

Rugged Ridge, Warrior, OR-Fab, Rock Hard, and Smittybilt make bumpers like that.

Jeepswag has a small light weight bumper that the winch sits down into. Its really small but it gives you lots of clearance. Does not have fog light holes, but gives you 4 different places to mount lights if you choose.

Here is a pic to see if you like.
