Default Rampage Recovery Bumper

I'm running the Rampage Recovery Bumper, and I'm quite happy. It's sturdy ("heavy") as hell, and allows you to run factory fogs. They're even recessed a little bit for protection. It also comes with a winch plate, which sits on top of the bumper, rather than "inside" it. It comes in either gloss black of flat / textured black. It'll cost you about $550 - $600 (not including shipping). I like it for several reasons - it's different, and you don't see it all that much; it lines up with the front fenders (factory or after-market) giving you a little bit better protection across the front; and it adds a very distinguished "look" to the front end. Here are some pix of mine: (the most recent ones show my Warn M8000 winch setup, and there are a few older pix of just the bumper.)

I highly considered PSC for the front - I love their stinger series. However, one thing I can't get around is that I don't like how, on the PSC fronts, the winch doesn't rest down INSIDE of the bumper - it sits on top. It's just a pet peeve of mine...I want the winch to be down, recessed, out of sight a bit...not in front of the grill. Plus like I said, I'm getting the ORfab local, for a pretty decent price. So I can't pass it up, lol.

I tell you what though - I REALLY want the SPC BFH rear...I like that A LOT! I want to get some PSC on my JK bad...just have to wait it out a little, lol. I need the tramp stamp of theirs, too hehe

I did actually consider that Smittybilt. Ranked 3rd I'd say...I actually can't mention the #1 choice I had here, but the ORfab has won me over lol.

Next big thing on the list really is going to be the Smittybilt rock sliders...the XRC ones I think? Whichever version of theirs has the supports in the middle so they don't fold in when you slide over or crash down onto rocks, lol.

I'm running the SRC's, and I love them. They only mount at the ends. I haven't beaten the hell out of them on rocks, but they look sharp and suit my needs.

I got my ORFab stinger and XRC8 on my JK the end of last week...VERY IMPRESSED with the construction of it, the finish, the structural design and everything. VERY heavy duty! I blew a front axle shaft on Saturday night though, so I'm dead in the water for now...wish I could go wheelin' and use the winch! But here's a few pics...

NOW I need some spacers up front, BAD!!!

correct me if im wrong, but this is pricing with bare steel, no paint...getting quote around another $200 to have painted...assuming i didnt just rattle can...going with or-fab simply because its made in the USA...like the rugged ridge look better but ships from chink town from my understanding.
