Ok guys help, this is excatly what i have in mind. Any idea on how he did it?? looks pro like lol

If you look in the write-up section, someone shows how he did his. look for stubbie bumper 101.

I forget his screen name. You can also find him on the Arkansas Crawler website. He has since sold the bumper & winch mount.

He used either the Harbor Freight Jeep mount or the Harbor Freight generic winch mount.

I would use the $63 mount from Auto Parts Warehouse (I've already got the plate, just need to get a winch.)

I purchased the stubby and winch plate from RedRock. i went back and reinforced/smoothed the seams on the stubby with JB Weld (for plastic). Then you can sand the weld and paint with textured paint. The winch plate had been trimmed to fit. I had to tap a few holes in the frame and attach. Below is the link he posted re: the Winch Mount.

wow... i really like the "stock" stubby with inserted winch. Thanks for the great links... I now have a new project!
