In Canada we get -40c every now and again. Well within all cars' operation ranges. As stated, block heaters help, and so does going easy at start. But it would take more for your regular city car to fail, unless it's older and a basket case.

So don't worry about critical failures and whatnot...

-6F here yesterday. The shifter was a little stiff at first but no problems otherwise. Gave 3 people boosts

yeh I know its been pretty dam cold but hell my mothers Pontiac sunfire in 14 years has never not started and run why is it we as jeep owners are afraid of if the jeep product we payed over 30 thousand will start and run ??? why are people building them for armegedan if they wont run right in cold weather or even warm lol I love the jeep but man read on and youl catch the driftClick image for larger version

I've never been afraid my Jeep won't start in cold weather. Those who have Jeeps that won't start just because it's cold outside must be neglecting something or doing something wrong.
Like any other vehicle, it takes vigilance to keep Jeeps in good working order.
