Default Suggestions on aftermarket am/fm anteaan

I know this is minor, but I'm sick of seeing that floppy piece of metal waving around in the wind like its 1980something. Granted, Chrysler can't really put them anywhere else on our Jeeps, but does anyone have a different suggestion for an aftermarket am/fm antenna besides this one?

Personally I think rubber antennas like that are gay but that may just be me. I have a friend who completely relocated his antenna elsewhere (to the back of his truck) because he didn't care for the location like what we have on Jeeps. He used identical whip antenna to the one he used for his CB and claims it does pretty good. Having said that, you have two options, one is relocating the antenna and the other is what kind of antenna you want to use. Both will depend on what you prefer. As long as an antenna is tuned for the frequency you want to use that should work just fine.

In my opinion the antenna x looks great, have had one for a year now. However in my experiences it does not have the best reception in certain areas. Completely worth the price for the durability and look.

I just cut mine in half and painted it black, then went to a local hobby store and got me one of those RC car rubber antenna topper. You will like it and saves you $$$ and reception has not changed for me

I, like you didn't like it flopping around. So I took mine off, removed the ball and cut it down so it is level with the hard top, put the ball back on and painted it black. I don't notice any change in reception and it was cheap.

I went with the AntennaX and think it looks great. Not a fan of the big flimsy, windshield scratching metal. That being said, I did lose just a little bit of reception in valleys and such but nothing major.

I went with the metra hidden antenna and have nothing on the outside of the vehicle. Looks way better and lost no reception. Antenna x makes them also.

I have one similar to the one from amazon. Works just fine, but if you live somewhere were reception is iffy, you will loose performance
