I have read a bunch of posts about installing a bike rack on an oversized spare (I have 33's) but if installed there, the bikes won't clear my camper when I turn. Any ideas on where/how else to attach 2 bikes to the Jeep and/or trailer without affecting turning? We have one adult sized bike and a child's bike, whose front tire is not easily removed. My husband isn't thrilled about a rack drilled into the roof of the camper and it doesn't have a rear hitch, so I'm at a bit of a loss. Any creative suggestions would be great!

My thought was to leave the bikes behind and buy off-road scooters instead...

 

What about a hitch extention? Give you more space between bikes and camper. Just a thought.
