Default Suggestions for Next Mod

Hey All,
I know everyone has different opinions so I guess I'm just looking for a bit of guidance from those who have more experience in building their JK's. I'm in the process of building my 2008 Unlimited X (first Wrangler) which is my DD. I do take it out on the trails and have installed the following in the first few months that I've had it:

- 2" BB (don't know brand it was on the Jeep when I bought it used)
- Smittybilt SRC sliders
- Rugged Ridge Modular bumper
- KC Hi-lites mounted on the windshield
- Cobra CB/Firestik Antenna

I plan on leaving my suspension the way it is for a while but was wondering if I should start saving for a winch (with synthetic) or concentrate on some armor underneath?? Will the stock skids / diff covers hold up for a while? Other than the evap cannister skid/relocation kit is there any armor that should be at the top of my list? Based on your experiences on the trails what would you do? Thank you for your help/suggestions!

I assume you have larger than stock tires since you put the 2" lift on. With that in mind, I would buy a rear bumper with tire carrier to remove the stress of your larger than stock spare.

I'm only running 265/75R16 or 32's and only plan on running 285/75R16 or 33's once the tread on my tires wear out.

Default Winch or Skids?

So I really haven't gotten any answers to my original post. Should start saving for a winch (with synthetic) or concentrate on some armor underneath as a next step??

Will the stock skids / diff covers hold up for a while? Other than the evap cannister skid/relocation kit is there any armor that should be at the top of my list? Based on your experiences on the trails what would you do? Thank you for your help/suggestions!

EVO control arm skids are a nice place to start off with. Woods EVAP relocation kit. CB's are a nice addition.

Got a recovery kit?

Cb, recovery gear, evap mod, diff covers or skids, control arm skids and c-gussets, before I would worry about skids other than the factory ones. I would start at protecting the lowest stuff first(diff cover, cntrl arms)
