Default Suggestions on route to take

Ill try and not ramble but may be a bit long. Trying to decide which way to go in the power department. Right now I have a 4dr JK, auto, 35" Nitto terra grapplers, 4.10 gears, both ends open, Superchips flashpaq with a 4" lift. At 70 in overdrive I turn 1900 rpm's, od off 2900 rpms. Trying to decide if I should regear to 5.13's for about 400 more rpms, (is this cost effective) and install a sc or turbo or just do the sc or turbo and no gear change. Will the sc or turbo make up the difference in gearing? I live in ks. but it does shift out of od on overpasses and is useless in a head wind. Other option is a LS 5.3 for about the same price or a bit more plus no gear change as this seems to be a good ratio for the LS, for the same price as the sc or turbo and gears together. SC or turbo's or the LS will be installed by me, gears outsourced. Only real draw back that I see to the LS is down time as this is my dd. I hope to be able to make it to Colorado and or Moab at least once a year if not more. All suggestions appreciated.

from what ive read all the jeeps that ripp builds they always do gears as well as their blower. how truthful that is, i dunno.

superchargers are definitely going to give you more power, but offroad the gearing is really gonna be beneficial. i would imagine with the blower you wouldnt NEED to regear, but everything ive read says that its the right thing to do for overall performance.

im in the SAME EXACT position you are in right now. 4 door, 35s, wanting gears and a blower because of overpasses on the freeway and headwind issue. i just bought a superchips flashpaq to help until i have a grand to dump on the regear and i will say it helped a good bit. its not gonna be the end all solution, but easily will help. im really wondering with the flashpaq and the regear will i still itch for the blower.

and since you said you appreciated flames, you are a douch.

I would go with the gears first, and see how it feels. It will put the motor back in it's optimal powerband
