Default Suggestions on soft top?

Just bought a 2008 2 door JK and all it came with was the freedom hard top. I'm looking into soft tops, but wanted to get some input from folks with some experience. Are there certain soft tops to stay away from? Anyone have any recommendations?

Mine also only came with a hardtop.

I just added on my Mopar 2010 soft top 2 weeks ago (2010/cable version)

No regrets. Held up well in a downpour during a tornado warning. 100% dry.

...and the sunrider mode is awsome and way faster than the hard panels.

Lots of folks with Dual Tops are selling the soft tops for cheap. Check you local Craigslist or ebay or the for sale section here or...

You can find them brand new/still in the boxes for $250-450 or so.

Do you hear much of a difference between the two while driving?

I have both tops and dont find that there is so much road noise as other noises. I dont hear wind rush, or my tires or motor any more then before. What i do hear is tires on big rigs when i pass them and stuff like that.

Look into a trektop from bestop. I think they look badass, and apparently work really well too. There are a few guys on here with them maybe they will chime in.

x2. The oem soft tops fit great, are very quiet (compared to previous versions) and if you can score a sunrider top, you'll really like that feature. Check out the for sale forums and craigslist, definitely. Or ebay.
