Default Sunrider soft top Mod

I got my JK 2dr back in October when they did not have the option of the sunrider soft top. I am not sure if Jeep has the option now, but its too late for me as I have the regular soft top and its still very new to get a new top. I happen to be a big fan of sunroofs.

Sitting in my JK today with excellent weather (NJ) and the top up beacuase the weatherman predicted a few showers, I was wondering if anyone has thought about a sunroof mod. Has anyone tried putting in a sunroof using the same method as used for the rear windows?

Anyone? I would love to have a sunroof mod.......

It would leak like a sieve...!!! Around/ thru the zippers..

BUT you can always go and ask your local convertible top repair / manufacturer guy..!!

They might have a fix..

The canvas on my boat has a "windshield" above the fixed plexiglass windshield so that I can still see when standing up to drive. It's at an approximate 45 degree angle (as oppossed to a Jeep "sunroof" which would be more like 10-15 degrees) but it doesn't leak even when I'm taking waves over the bow. Maybe a good marine canvas shop could install one for you. If you decide to do it make sure to post pics.
