New here so bare with me.
I bought a used super chip but it won't let me load it. Says it does not recognize VIN # Any suggestions????

 

It souds like it's still locked to the previous jeep.

 

Any idea how to unlock it???

 

I read in other places that if the previous owner used any of the advanced tunes like TPMS and did not return them to stock that can cause an issue. Even if he had reset everything else to a factory tune in the quick tune area. I believe he would have still had to gone into those advanced setting and set them back too. I believe Superchips charges $100 to unlock a tuner that is Vin locked. I would try to get a hold of the previous onwer and have him make things right by either refunding my money or resetting everything back to factory settings.

 

Still locked to previous owners JK. Take it back and have him remove whatever function he forgot to remove. Tune/tpms/gearing?
