Default Super Chip off-road???

I have red a lot about the new Super Chip Flashpaq and am on the verge of getting one. Most everyone reports increased power and/or mileage, both good things. My only real remaining question is how the new settings affect your Jeep off-road, especially if you have the AT.

There are many settings on the Superchips including an off-road specific tuning. Our snow level is still below 10,000 feet so I'm waiting until around Father's Day for the mountain passes that I like to climb to open up and really test this.

I haven't seen the crawling tune yet either, but understand they are or will be working on expanding the throttle related feature set. For me that's the great thing about the SC tuners as having owned one for 3 years with my Dodge truck it just keeps getting better with an expanding feature set. I'm sure the same will be true for the JK although today, right now, it is already the most feature rich tuner for the Jeep market with more to come.

It has 2 idle settings one for idle up and the other for idle set. I haven't played with it yet.

Only one of those two settings are for the JK.

The Idle set is for the JK and only maintains the idle setpoint as long as you have the programmer plugged in and on the idle setpoint screen. I believe the Idle up feature is for the CRD.

I haven't played with it yet but I thought this one was only for the JK. Are there any CRD's available? I thought they were all gone.

Not sure at all on that one as I am a non-TPMS 2007 JK owner. So I'm not even sure if would show up even if it were available, although it was to be included in the original feature set.
