Supercharger is off. Jeep on the highway drive home and in town. 18.5mpg. With the blower i would be 13-14mpg on the same exact trip.

I just got 13 from MOAB back to Colorado Springs. The new 3.6 2 door the wife drives got 16.6. I figured it would be better but mountains are a killer.

There were a few of the new SC vendors out there at the show. Someone is going to be making an aftermarked intercooler for the Sprintex according to a few people I spoke to. Also a few other guys out there that had intercooled and non-intercooled SC from major vendors say the same things. Minor surging at certain speeds. Trouble with tunes originally, but got them sorted out...etc. Overall most were happy with the blower. The tune is the big factor.

If i was doing just highway i could get 13-14 if i was good with it. My overall was between 11-13mpg. But with crazy ass gas prices up here and poor mpg, i pulled it off. I should get 15-18mpg now and cheaper 87 octane. Yes the power is gone but oh well. Need to save a few bucks now. She was nice not having my jeep surge at highway speeds. Forgot how bad this 3.8 motor is on hills lol

Thats good to hear that someone else may be making a intercooler for it. Got any more info you can share, like is it also a water to air or what and any time lines? Not sure why I am so worried about one because at $1700 from what Sprintex was saying not sure I can swing that right now anyway.

I think it was the boostech guy I bought my sprintex from. They don't sell the sc anymore so I don't know what is going on there but he said his will be in the 1,200 range. It will be fabricated in house if I remember correct. He had a bunch of sc at the table for Cherokee and 4.0 liter Jeeps.

Oh and the magnisun guys were there too but I didn't get to talk to them

The orange jeep was a 3.6 and the green a 3.8 but the hood wasn't popped.

I can speak first hand that the cooler makes a nice difference in power and consistent power.

But like any water to air cooler, it will warm up. Mine did around town at 20 degree celsius days and it takes awhile before it will cool down again
