I'll second the 5.38s, 37s, and RIPP. The exact setup I am running. Works great!!!

I currently have 4.10's and was thinking of jumping to either 4.56 or 4.88 or just going with the Ripp's supercharger. Is there a chart that tells you how much your rpm's will increase with a change in size of gears? If anyone can help me out that would be great.

Thanks
Your reading the chart correctly - and the correct gear is 4:88. However taking all things into consideration... Power, transmission overdrive ration, OEM torque management system, aerodynamics and weight... you will NOT go wrong being more aggressive with the gearing. In this case 5:!3 would be our choice. If in the future you would consider going 37's the 5:13 will carry you over, but the 5:38's the best...

With respect to just gearing and/or a supercharger, the power will still be low, you still have a 33.3% drive train loss. The gears won't make more power, they will correct the tire diameter and better match the power you have to transmission ratios and engine RPM.

We suggest doing gears first so you get an understanding for the drive train and engine dynamic... and then add the power. We even went as far as making video of a stock 3.8 powered Minivan to demostrate the engine natural power band. This video is to demonstrate the NA - RPM points of the 3.8l V6 AT 70MPH - you can see as the video progress's that the RPM's hover between 2000 and 3500rpm.
