yep like Bacon stated....but if you did some advanced tunes make sure you remove those as well. Setting it back to stock will not remove these advanced tune. How would I know... purchased a used Superchips but the guy I bought it from forgot about the TMPS disable and he returned to stock but it was locked due to the advanced tune options when I tried the tuner on my Jeep. The seller was cool and paid to have it unlocked.

Ok, I set it back to stock and plug it into my computer and the last 8 of the vin is still in the superchip. Will this go away when it gets plugged into another jeep or is there a way to erase the vin?

Default Make sure...............

Like the earlier post stated, return EVERYTHING back to stock, tire size, etc. The return to stock removes the proformance upgrades but not anything else you might have changed.
